This large bowl is a typical Kutani ware porcelain, with a traditional stone paving pattern handed down from the Edo period.

As the name suggests, Ishidatami is characterized by a geometric pattern of regular squares, like paving fine pebbles. It makes a very wonderful serving vessel with an original way of serving.
